Pro Football Picks Recap, Monday 12.08.14

Split my pro football picks on Monday night’s game between the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers.  My thought process was that I was very confident the Packers would score at least 35 points and if that happened we could do no worse than a split.  That’s exactly what we got.  Below is a copy of those pro football picks, along with the writeup to explain my reasoning.  Note the writeup for the side play is the same as the one for the total play.

8:30 pm ET
NFL
#180 GREEN BAY -13
$200 (Normal Bet)

BOTTOM LINE: Same writeup for side & total.  The Packers score a ton of points at home and I don’t see that changing against a very porous Atlanta defense.  The Falcons are a dome team playing outdoors in the frigid conditions at Lambeau Field, so this game is well out of their comfort zone.  Falcons QB Matt Ryan and the passing game are also capable of scoring some points here, especially in garbage time after the Packers have built a huge lead.  I have this one as Packers 41-20, so I’m betting GREEN BAY & OVER.

8:30 pm ET
NFL
#179-180 OVER 55.5 Atlanta at Green Bay
$200 (Normal Bet)

BOTTOM LINE: Same writeup for side & total.  The Packers score a ton of points at home and I don’t see that changing against a very porous Atlanta defense.  The Falcons are a dome team playing outdoors in the frigid conditions at Lambeau Field, so this game is well out of their comfort zone.  Falcons QB Matt Ryan and the passing game are also capable of scoring some points here, especially in garbage time after the Packers have built a huge lead.  I have this one as Packers 41-20, so I’m betting GREEN BAY & OVER.
